My name is Elizabeth Johnson and I married my best friend on July 30th, 2011. We have a son & are currently expecting our second child in late spring 2016
I was introduced to horses at a young age. Born in Minnesota & moved to Montana at the age of 2, I grew up in the west and fell in love with horses. In 2003 I began lessons and by the following spring I got my first job working at a stable where they offered lessons, trail rides, hay rides and pony rides. It gave me a lot of experience working with all breeds and sizes of horses. I have 9 continuous years' experience with horses, 2 of which I showed in college on the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association. I went to college at North Dakota State University in Fargo, ND to major in Equine Science. My first year I was grand champion in the region and in the top 16 for Semi Nationals in the Advanced intermediate level. After college I bought Cooper and began training for barrel racing and other western disciplines. Since 2010, I have competed in barrel racing, other gaming events and team sorting plus have experience in ranch work gathering and sorting large herds of cattle and participating in the local drill team and ride in the annual rodeo carrying flags. As always, I enjoy spending time on the trails!
My husband Aaron is part of the Wisconsin Army National Guard. He began working with horses a few years before we met and enjoys a fun energetic horse that gives him a challenge! In the fall of 2015 we rescued Boomer, his new horse and he has been a great match for Aaron. Besides being a part of americas finest and riding horses, Aaron enjoys hunting, fishing, snowmobiling and working on vehicles!
Here at Rockin' J, we take pride in our horses and have a passion to help others. I have always enjoyed the equine industry and am happy to be a part of it. Besides being a full time mom to a toddler and another baby on the way, Rockin' J is my personal business with offering equine massage and being a dealer for both RES Equine & EquiGroomer. I believe in quality products at a affordable price. In the future I would like to expand my therapy services and also possibly add other products for sale.
